Picture this: In the rooms you dream of entering, everyone looks nothing like you. Would you dare imagine yourself leading them?

That was exactly what the women of the Navy did. Growing up in an age of all-male military forces, they set foot in the Navy, assumed roles beyond traditional support functions and broke through glass ceilings to become the first women in key leadership positions. 

To celebrate these women, we captured them outside of utilitarian settings and through the lens of a fashion editorial – putting the focus squarely on them in our direct mailer: sharp, smart, and feminine.

Today, the women of our generation have the privilege of doing more than simply looking up to these trailblazers – they get to build a career in the sea of firsts.
